Me, the flowergirl..

This Fourth of July was incredibly fun – my cousin got married and I was the flower girl! The bridesmaids were older than me, but I fit right in as we got our hair, nails, and makeup done before the ceremony. I felt so grown up and happy the older girls included me. I had a blast dancing at the reception! I hope that my wedding is just as grand and beautiful as my cousin’s was. I love being in weddings – you get the best view! Do you like being in the wedding party? Or would you rather be a guest at the ceremony?

weddings can be so beautiful - simple or fancy, they are special. PErsonally I prefer the role of guest and observer - Weddings are good for people watching.

I have to be honest with you, Judy. I don't want to burst your youth bubble, but I find weddings a bit depressing — so much faith in something that ultimately results in a deep sense of failure. Why can't we just give up the idea of Santa Clause and simply be satisfied with presents from our friends and family (or even just their presence, for that matter)?

How can a wedding be depressing? Are all marriages just a bad thing in your eyes. I think there are many great unions of people who don't marry each other for the wrong reasons and do work through their problems and in the end they find happiness with each other in their lives. This is not Santa Clause to a lot of people and Judy do not let people ruin your idea of marriage and love.

It is difficult for me to be in a wedding party with people that I don't know (if I am not familiar with the bride's/groom's friends). I like the role of observer simply because it means less pressure.

weddings are a thing of beauty. I can't think of anything better than family and friends together to celebrate. The idea of marriage is based upon all the great values and principles in life. One gets married with the thoughts of trust and hope. For me, these two things are what makes our lives go forward.

Being in a wedding would be fun because you also get the inside scope of how the wedding party feel about the wedding. Some of them would not want the two people get marry, other would be happy for them, but at the end the people that are getting marry is the one that is committed to each other until proven otherwise.
