How do I fix this?

Today I saw Daddy crying before bedtime. He looked so sad. Even our dog Frankie couldn’t cheer him up. Mommy is sad too. She was too tired to go swimming in the pool today. I really want them to be happy. How can I help them be happy?

Everyone is sad at times. The best thing you can do is talk to them and let them know that their happiness and yours is possible. Sometimes a simple can cheer things up.

I'm sorry to hear that Judy. Your Mommy and Daddy will happy again in time. Don't worry about being the one to have to cheer them up. You are already the happiest thing in both of their lives.

Thank for your advice I am realizing more and more how hard this is for them and I am also seeing that they really do care about me a lot and when I am happy it helps to cheer them up. I still wish I could do more for them though. Will it ever just be ok again?

This will all soon pass. They are sad right now and it's something they have to go through to be able to come out on the other side as happier more balanced people. Hug them. Tell them you love them. Try not to let it affect you.

Hi Judy, my parents also went through a divorce when I was a child. I know that both your parents are very sad right now. Just remember that you are the most important thing in both of their lives and they care for you very much. Be open with them and let them know how this is affecting you. Communication is the best thing you and your partents can have, don't hold anything back. Don't worry Judy, things will be ok.

I'm sorry to hear that Judy. People have sad time in there life and need someone to be by their side. You could talk to them and remind them of the good time you had with them. That might cheer them up.
